Static Discharge - One of the most obvious safety precautions ground support personnel must take can be made even easier through static grounding reels to prevent the build up of static electricity in volatile areas.
Grounding reels make the critical refuelling process as quick and easy as possible by offering smooth operation and minimal cable pull so ramp wait time is decreased.
Dispensing Nitrogen – Nitrogen used for aircraft tyre inflation is contained under pressure and any leakages from damaged hoses can work out very expensive. When hose reels are used damage is reduced and cost savings are made.
